Jessica Grieser

Trainee Recruiter (HR & Recruitment Intern)

A Quick Interview:

I was born in Zwiesel, a small city in Bavaria, Germany and I spent most of my life there. After my degree I decided to go for an apprenticeship as a bilingual secretary which I completed successfully. Afterwards I finished my A levels to have the possibility to go to university.

Due to the fact that I always had the wish to work abroad for a longer time I chose my study program in “International Relations and Management” at the OTH Regensburg which includes one theoretical and one practical semester abroad. I spend my first semester abroad in Amiens, France and studied there for 5 months.
During this time, I travelled a lot and tried to gain several experiences. I also spend a holiday in Ireland and because of really nice and open-minded Irish people I decided to sit my internship in Ireland.  Dublin was the city that convinced me very quickly and therefore the decision was clear - Dublin is where I wanted to spend my second semester.

Why I like working at Careertrotter

I contacted Herbert and I was really glad from the beginning that I got the chance to make my internship at Careertrotter. I am a part of the really nice and young team since the end of August 2016 and plan to work here until the beginning of January 2017. All of the team members welcomed me very kindly and I hope that I will gain a lot precious experiences and insights into diverse areas during this time.

I love to do a lot of sports during my free time. I play tennis, like to dance and I prefer to spend my free time outside and go hiking as well. My big passion is to travel and I plan to visit many interesting places in the world in the next few years. When I am at home in Germany, I spend my time with my family and friends.
