Peter's Portuguese Job in Krakow

Why Work Abroad?

I've always wanted to work abroad, at least for a while anyway. I wanted to get to know new cultures, meet new people, have new adventures and push my myself out of my comfort zone a little bit more. After some hesitation, I decided to look for a job abroad and face the fear of the unknown. That's when I saw a Portuguese Speaking Job that was perfect for me on the Careertrotter website. So it begins...

How did Careertrotter help you?

It was Celine who got in touch with me shortly after I applied for the job, she was amazing during the entire process, she helped me prepare the interviews, gave me a lot of information about Krakow and encouraged me to move there. Celine kept me posted all the way, even on the smallest details. Thanks to her guidance I was able to face the interview with ease, I was 100% ready for it. I felt that she cared, that I wasn't just another placement.

Careertrotter you get a 5 out of 5 - I would rate them a 6 if I could. I was lucky to have had Careertrotter to guide me. I didn't know that a recruitment process could be so well tailored.

What do you think about Krakow?

Krakow is a beautiful city, full of life. It is one of the oldest cities in Poland and you can feel it when you walk in the streets and look at the many monuments everywhere in the city.

People in Krakow are really welcoming and helpful, that's the part I like most about the city. They will help with everything, public transport, looking for an apartment, you name it. On top of that they are really outgoing. You won't get bored in Krakow.

Advice for future Trotters?

Don't be afraid, if working abroad is an experience you would like to have - then go for it, you won't regret it.

Somethings will be tough to deal with at first but I promise you that will be laughing about it in no time.
