What will you do in this job?
As part of the business development team, you will be responsible for hunting down new business via phone and possibly social media. You will be the master of your own pipeline.
Attend regular sales training programs supplied by our client and where necessary, provide feedback in order to improve services.
You will be working with targets for lead generation and when you have a customer on board, you pass them onto the relevant sales rep.
Customer Service quality is extremely important to our client so it will be your job to make sure each customer has a good experience and you respond promptly where necessary.
Who will you be working for?
Our client is the leader in their industry, providing data centre related solutions as well as IT Support to many large and medium-sized companies around the world. They are currently based in several locations around Germany and are now they are looking for a German speaker with excellent English to join them in their Frankfurt office within the business development team.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you to have a near native level of German and excellent English. You have A+ communication skills (written and verbal). You have a bachelor’s degree preferably in the business sector and have a self-motivated go-getter attitude.
It would be a big plus for your application if you have between 1-2 years sales/telesales experience but as this is an entry level position it is not mandatory.
We are looking for someone with office experience who may have completed a sales apprenticeship or internship.
Where would you be working?
Frankfurt -> the largest city in the German state of Hesse and the fifth largest city in Germany. As Frankfurt is in a prime location in Germany and Europe is it a major air, rail and highway transport hub. Lastly, this beautiful city is full of a number of Museums, Gardens and skyscrapers, so there is plenty for you to explore. As this is a new team within the company the team is small, but that just means you get to have the personal feel to your working day - which is great new anyway.
Interview & Salary
The interview process for this Junior German Business Development Job is 3 fold:
1 – There will be a phone interview with a recruiter. 2- You will be invited for a video or Skype call with the hiring manager (who is based within the Netherlands) and lastly you will be invited for a face-to-face interview with sales and/or marketing manager here in Frankfurt.
In terms of Salary, you can expect to earn €60,000 OTE gross per annum (you could earn more if you have 1-2 years sales experience).
