What will you do in this job?
With join the translation team here in Dublin, you will be responsible for the translation, review and proofing of content from English to German, where you will focus heavily on localising the content and always aim for high-quality translations.
You will work on resolving translating issues you come across, create and maintain translation style guides and work closely with project managers and review translation feedback when needed.

Who are we looking for?
For this Linguist Specialist job, we are looking for you to have a near native level of German and excellent English. You have a degree in language studies and 2 years previous translation/localisation/linguistic experience (Freelance experience is ok). It would be a plus if you were passionate about the online/virtual reality gaming world. Last but not least you have excellent CAT Skills.

Interview & Salary
The interview process for this Linguist job is quite straightforward (Keep in mind that getting through each stage of the process can take time). You will first be sent a German language test to assess your multilingual skills. If successful you will then be invited for a face-to-face interview with a hiring manager and another face-to-face inter with the operation manager.
In regard to salary, it is dependent on your experience and skill level so you will be earning between €26,000 - €30,000 gross per annum. Of course, for a truly exceptional CV, we would fight for more!
