If you speak a native level of Norwegian, have a strong cultural awareness of life in Norway i.e. you are currently living there and/or have lived there for a long period of time and you have a good knowledge of market, then you would be a great addition to the localisation team in Cork, where you would become our client’s next Norwegian speaking Localisation Engineer and could earn between €38,000 - €45,000 depending on your experience and level of skills in the IT and engineering sector.
What will you do in this Job?
As part of the Norwegian speaking localisation engineering team it will be your job to create and maintain automated test procedures, run tests to ensure language capabilities are correctly localised and/or displayed. You will be carrying out technical software reviews, identify areas of improvement and work closely with a number of engineering teams as well as QA and project management teams.

For this Norwegian localisation engineer job we are looking for you to have a native level of Norwegian and you must have a strong cultural awareness to go with that, as just speaking Norwegian is not enough. Therefore we require Norwegian speakers who have lived in Norway for a long period of time. Not forgetting that you also need a good level of English too. We are looking for you to have strong linguistic knowledge as the job mainly revolves around support localisation. You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or electronic engineering as this is a highly technical job. We are looking for you to have a strong analytical mind and a deep understanding and possibly some previous experience in QA best practices.

Interview & salary
