If you speak Swedish, have a good level of English and have a degree in in Pharmaceuticals, chemistry, Nursing, nutrition and/or the natural sciences then this could be the perfect job for you. Being a medical advisor for this particular client means that you will be dealing with two different types customers via the phone & email. The first being end users or patients where you will be answering queries on the side effects of our clients’ drugs and any general questions they may have. The second being healthcare professionals where you will be talking about the how the drugs work and their overall benefits and disadvantages (side effects). You will basically be the person who gives factual advice to clients and use your medical expertise and interest. What will you do in this job?
To start with there is an extensive training session which is followed by a 12-18 month developmental programme. You will be working in the Medical Information department, where you will be responsible for replying to medication queries from both patients and other healthcare professionals such as doctors, throughout the EU. With every interaction you will be tasked with documenting each discussion into our client’s computer system. Throughout your entire service you will strive to deliver a high standard of customer care and make sure you have an extensive knowledge of our client’s drugs.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for near native Swedish speakers who also have a good level of English. A Swedish speaker who has a science degree in either Pharmaceuticals, chemistry, Nursing, nutrition and/or the natural sciences. We are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic individual who has some experience in the Healthcare/customer care industry. Listening skills is a must here as you will be working closely with end users, dealing with their queries and replying to them in both Swedish and English. As we are looking for someone in the medical area, an empathetic person is preferred. We are looking for you to know your way around MS Office and that you work well under pressure and time management is a skill of yours.

Interview & Salary
For this Medical Advisor role in Cork, you will have to sit through 2 interviews. The first is a Skype interview, the second a face-to-face interview and if you live abroad some of your expenses will be covered by our client.
If you are successful and after a series of background checks you could be the next Swedish Medical Advisor. Your salary depends on the amount of experience you have in the area (30K-40K). With that a relocation package is on offer for those who will need to move to Cork.
